Tap water quality

The Regional Health Agency (ARS) tests tap water in each network several times a year. Drinking water and sewerage are run by the Community of towns' public water board (régie).

Checks over the 12 months to 26 August 2026. Nitrates: limit 50 mg/l. Hardness in French degrees (°f). Pesticides (total) and PFAS: highest value measured over 3 years, limits 0.5 µg/l and 0.1 µg/l.

Non-compliant samples

31 sample(s) exceeded a quality reference (indicator such as water temperature or chlorine, without health limit).

Sources and method

  • Water quality: results of the health checks of the Regional Health Agencies, via the Hub'Eau API (OFB). A sample is compliant when no parameter exceeds a quality limit (health); quality references are indicators of how the network works. Official results per town: Ministry of Health.
  • Restrictions: VigiEau (Ministry of Ecological Transition), queried live from your browser at the town hall location; outlying hamlets may fall in another zone.
  • Price: SISPEA observatory (OFB), data declared by each service; where a town has several pricing areas, the median value is shown.
  • Rivers: Hub'Eau hydrometry (monthly mean flow QmM). Groundwater: Hub'Eau piezometry (BRGM, ADES), monthly mean of daily levels in metres above sea level (NGF).
